- Digit 1: Century
- (0) – year 1900 – 1999
- (1) – year 2000 – 2999
- (2) – year 3000 – 3999
- Digits 2 and 3: Last Two Digits of the Starting Academic Year
- Digit 4: Semester/Trimester
- (1) – First Semester
- (2) – Second Semester
- (3) – Midyear Term
- (4) – First Trimester
- (5) – Second Trimester
- (6) – Third Trimester
- As an example,
- Undergraduate 1232 stands for enrollment data of undergraduate programs in the Second Semester AY 2023-2024.
- Graduate 1232 1235 stands for enrollment data of graduate programs in the Second Semester AY 2023-2024 and the Second Trimester AY 2023-2024.
